Yesterday, I visited a friend who works at a local watch shop. I was wearing the 6R15 diver on a Marinemaster strap and my friend was wearing a rare vintage Seiko chrono. It’s a 7015 flyback chronograph that he bought from a local vintage watch shop.
We spent some time looking at each other’s watch. The 7015 is in good condition except for a dent on the watch case and a snapped second hand (missing short end). I have seen many vintage Seiko chronographs but this was the first I saw this particular model in person. While admiring the watch, I comment on the lack of affordable chronographs in Seiko’s current lineup. Seems that the Flightmaster is the only modern Seiko mechanical chronograph that became popular.
