Watches you don’t see everyday

Here are two watches you don’t see everyday.

First, an unusual looking Seiko watch from 1973. It is powered by the 2418 movement. So far, this is the only Seiko watch that I have seen in person that uses this movement. Watch does not have a second hand and movement is automatic but can also be hand wound.

Next, is a beat up Ricoh Dynamic Wide. Obviously, it is Ricoh’s version of the Rolex Daydate.
Just like the previous Ricoh watches that I have seen, it does not have any movement or case number on the caseback or on the dial.
