POP material

Sometimes, when a special watch is launched, the manufacturer will also come up with special POP (point of purchase) materials to help promote the watch.

This time round, I would like to share with you this die cast model of the 2007 BP-Ford racing car. It is used as a POP material for the Marcus Gronholm watch. Marcus Gronholm is car number 3 whereas this one in the picture is car number 4 belonging to his teammate. Of course, model of car number 3 is also a POP material.

Besides the car models, other POP materials of this watch include a driving cap and shirt.

Here’s the Marcus Gronholm watch I am talking about. This watch was launched in October 2008.

How do I get hold of the 2008/2009 Orient Watch Catalogue?

  4. Yeoman 25/01/2009 at 6:08 pm

Hi Tony (Orient Emperor),If I\’m not wrong, the catalog is given to Orient dealers only. They do have separate catalogs for each product line. Seiyajapan and Higuchi often include such catalogs in their shipping packages. Seiko also prints full catalogs like these for their dealers: regards,Thomas
